Services for Kay Parrish, 71, of Tyler are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at West Erwin Church of Christ. Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Tyler Memorial Park.
Mrs. Parrish passed away Oct. 4, 2012, at The Hospice of East Texas. She was born Feb. 1, 1941, in Nacogdoches. Kay graduated from John Tyler High School in 1959 and the Federal Business Institute. She was a homemaker and a member of West Erwin Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Gladys Singleton; and her in-laws, Pete and Bernice Parrish.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Tommy Parrish of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Shara and James Wehunt of Irving; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Melissa Parrish of Whitehouse; grandchildren, Justin and Sydney Parrish of Whitehouse; sister, Carol Allen of Kingwood; sister-in-law, Liz Albritton and husband O.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We would like to especially thank Dr. Eric Smith, Dr. Royal Becker, Dr. Charles Beall and Dr. Steve Hickerson for their loving care through the years.
