Johnnie Kathryn Webb Jackson

Johnnie was born on March 1, 1927 in Rockwall, Texas to Archie Webb and Lottie Webb. She married Glenn Jackson and had two wonderful children, Danny and Glenda. Johnnie was the matriarch of a truly loved family, always had fun playing games, cherished making new memories and remembering old ones. She was a devoted Christian with a passionate love for the Lord. She kept a daily devotional and was always involved helping her congregation at First Christian Church, where she was an active and integral member.

She is survived by her son Danny Jackson and his wife Lynne, son in law Dr. Steuart Heaton, grandchildren Dr. Michael Jackson, Amy Jackson, Dr. Matt Heaton, Katie Hammack, and Dr. Travis Heaton, many great grandchildren. and a host of loving friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn, his brother Roy, her daughter Glenda Heaton, Jonnie's second husband Roy Grussendorf, her brother Archie (Al), her sister Beatrice (Bece) Peoples, and her parents.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Jackson, Dr. Steuart Heaton, Dr. Michael Jackson, Dr. Matt Heaton, Dr. Travis Heaton, and Steven Hammack.

Visitation will be Thursday January 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at First Christian Church of Tyler, Texas on Friday January 6 at 11:00 with reception to follow.
