John Tolbert Warren

John passed away November 2, 2020 in Tyler, TX.

He was born November 26, 1959 in Smith County to Lendsey Wayne Warren and Doris Kay Bryant.

John grew up in Smith County before he joined the military. He served 2 years in the Army and 11 years in the Marines before retiring. John married Sherrie Lynn Crain April 25, 2003 at the Rose Garden in Tyler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with his hands. John loved family fellowship and spending time with his grandchildren who he had a special name for each. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Whitehouse.

John is survived by his Wife, Sherrie Lynn Warren; Daughter, Misty Murr; Daughter, Mindy & Johnathan Ritch; Daughter, Stefanie McClurg; Son, John Lindsay Warren; Grandchildren: Carson, Dylan, Morgan, Katelynn, Grace, Connor and Katie; Sister, June Warren & Jeff Ferguson; Sister, Linda Wallace; and Best Friend, Robert Howell.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wayne & Doris Warren; Brother, Jody Warren; Sister, Alice Warren; Grandparents, Elizabeth & Houston Warren; and Uncle, Ken Warren.

Interment will be at Meador Cemetery in Tyler, TX.
