He moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas with his family in 1959 where he was surrounded by a multitude of aunts, uncles & cousins. He loved little league baseball & played for many years on the Rotary team. In 1969 he and the family moved to Tyler, TX. He attended Robert E Lee High School and also Chapel Hill High. during his high school years he was a member and very active in the Sons of confederate Veterans. He enjoyed going to all the battle reenactments dressed in full confederate attire. He was very active in the martial arts as well. After high school he joined joined the United States Air Force. While in the air force he developed a passion for Corvettes. In the course of his life he had many. Upon return from service he worked in the custom paint and body business. He was extremely artistic and was known for his many custom, unique one of a kind designs. In the 1980s he joined a Special Forces CIA covert operations group and traveled on secret assignments to places only known to him. He would often be gone for several months at a time.He eventually resigned from the organization stating he would live longer that way. He then moved to Beverly Hills, California to become a business manager for his uncle, Stan Freberg. He attended the Emmy awards when Stan was to presented an award. While in LA he worked with Todd Fisher & Dusty Ebsen on the film team that recorded the opening video everyone saw each night of the summer Olympics in LA. While in LA he attended & graduated from Santa Monica College with a degree in broadcasting. He was given a scholarship to UCLA but decided he had enough of the west coast and wanted to come home to normal people. Hence his return to Texas. He worked for many more years in the paint & body field. He spent the last 20 years of his life living in solitude in the country. Piddling in his shop and tinkering on his cars. He loved to canoe the Buffalo River in Arkansas and made several trips there. He was a quiet individual that enjoyed his privacy and reading his bible.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Geoffrey Alan Marden, parents, Lester & Arlene Marden.
He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Leslie and T.J Vickery, of Lindale, TX and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be at Tyler Memorial Cemetery, Thursday, April 17 2025, officiated by Rev. William Vickery.
