Janet was a strong, devout Christian woman who lead by example. She was the epitome of the type of woman you would want to look up to. She had a servants heart and loved nothing more than to take care of people, especially her family. Janet was born and raised in Houston, Texas where she graduated from Jeff Davis High School. Houston is also where she met the love of her life, Bobby Foster, she used to say she dreamt of him before they ever met and the moment she saw him, she knew he was the one. Janet and Bobby worked together at many family owned businesses, starting with Eagle Truck and Equipment Sales and CDL Express where she was president and owner. In her spare time when Janet wasn't cooking or caring for others, she loved spending time tending to her garden. Janet was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Bobby Foster, Sr.; daughters, Patricia Buchanan (Buck) Darla Caldwell (Randy); sister Wanda Nickell (Don), sister-in-law Barbara Fletcher and sister-in-law Loretta Foster; grandchildren, Angela Staggs (Robert), Amanda Bass (Jim), April Mangum (Chuck), Wesley Foster (Christy), Spencer Caldwell (Kim), Tony Caldwell (Jessica) and Kristen Pierce (Welby) as well as 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by son Bobby Foster, Jr.; father PalmerJohn Phillips, mother Virginia Phillips and sisters, Virginia Rich (Elvis), Betty Drummond (Martin) Vera Trice (Milton) Norma Bishop (Billy)
A family graveside service for Janet will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 3:30 PM at Muse Cemetery, 275 CR 1219, Grapeland, TX 75844.
