Jane Brown Rozell, 75, of Chandler, passed away on September 26, 2014 in Tyler. Jane, a retired manager for a video rental store, was born on October 2, 1938 in Lufkin. She attended school in Leveretts Chapel. Following school she worked in the rose fields. She married Marvin Troy Rozell in 1955 and they made their home in Chandler. She was a homemaker, worked at Red Hopson Country Store, Gibson’s, and later, The Movie Palace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marvin and her grandson, Logan.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Sparks of Chandler, Marvin T. Rozell, Jr. of Chandler; siblings, Gene Brown of Kilgore, Delilah Hughes of Overton, Sheryl Tolliver of Kilgore, Buster Brown of Henderson and David Brown of Leveretts Chapel. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Lori Tidwell, Kelly Tidwell, Jessica Miller, Matthew Sparks and Kai Rozell; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2014 also at the funeral home with Deacon Ray Cunningham officiating; with interment to follow in Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
