James was a loving son, brother and father. He graduated from John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas. James was a hard worker and he loved to work on vehicles. He was a good listener and had a big heart, when you needed someone to lean on, you could always count on him. James will be missed by all who knew him.
James is survived by his son, Christopher Robertson; father, Paul Nail; mother, Lydia Toshach; sister, Lynda Laird; brother, James Matthews; nephews and nieces, Cody Laird, Alicia Ratley, Lavada Murphy, Emma Murphy, and Gracelynn Ratley; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
James is preceded in death by his grandparents, Anita Ramirez, Christian Nail, and Jack Nail; and uncle Henry Nail.
Serving as pallbearers are Cody Laird, James Matthews, Robert Edward Foy Jr., James Delling, Craig Allen and Eddie Moore.
A time of visitation for James will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 p.m., concluding in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
