Memories of family and my dad enjoying life to the fullest. My dad worked for the Austin American Statesman, retiring from there and  leaving Austin to take up residence with his wife Judy in Hawkins, Texas. He loved to fish and always made it an annual trip with one of  his friends to the coast. Finally got the boat, a nice Sun Tracker, brand new and even made the special drive to the manufacture to pick it up, he was so proud, finally having a boat that wasn't towed back in. We all had some great times on that boat, he also enjoyed the music venture around Austin such as Willie Nelson, David Allan Cole and others and going to places like Alliance Wagon Yard, Broken Spoke. Always enjoyed good food at local restaurant's and yes he could smoke up a good bar b que and brisket and I guess I learned myself from the best, and he always always ready to play some dominoes and crank up some music. These are the memories

MISS YOU DAD

Dad 's are not always perfect dads starting out and they have to learn as kids grow. Some bad choice's, divorce, other bad choices, not all your fault, you just had to deal with what was given. Time finally brought us all together and with great memories that we all share from your four sons and daughter. I am my self sorry for not being there in your final years, just could not locate where you was, or I would have been there. I know each one of us miss you and what you did for each of us in their own special way and I know that each of us Steve, Chris, Terrie, still cherish those great moments,  and hope in heaven you come together with Terry and Jeff and come together to enjoys those great moments that God has instore for you. THANKS DAD FOR THE MEMORIES, Will always miss you.

Uncle Jim you were incredibly brave and strong over the last few years.  For his friends and family my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
To uncle Jim, I see you now with your brothers knocking back a couple of beers and humming little songs to your beloved dogs.
