passed away suddenly on Friday,
February 2, 2018,
at East Texas Medical Center.
Jim was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Walter James and Ethyl Manila Biddle.
Jim graduated from Daniel Webster High School and Tulsa University. He served in the U.S. Army before his employment with Bethlehem Steel Co. in Chicago, Illinois. He was transferred to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1968 and transferred to Houston from 1977 to 1990. In March of 1997, he retired from Bethlehem Steel Co. with 31 years of service. Jim met his wife, Beverly, of 47 years in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. They married on April 25, 1970. Jim and Beverly are members of Green Acres Baptist Church.
Jim is survived by his wife Beverly; his mother-in-law Julie and numerous friends and relatives in Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Ethyl,
and his sister Faye J. Shook. Jim was very involved with the community
and loved to garden.
Jim will be interred in the Ottawa Indian Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma.
