Services for J. D. Jones, 78, of Frankston are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel with Rev. Forrest Bass officiating. Burial is in Bullard Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 in Tyler.

He was born on June 13, 1934 in Whitehouse to the late Louis and Johnnie Alford Jones. He was a retired painting contractor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary Dell Jones; daughters, Vickie Lynn Guinn and Donna A. Kilborn and husband Kenneth; grandson, Gage Lee Guinn and a sister, Pauline Blanton. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.

Pallbearers are Gage Guinn, Vincent Megason, David Bass, Johnny Goodrich, Tim Guinn and Kenneth Kilborn.
