Irving H. Brown

Irving H. Brown age 78 passed away June 17, 2011 at ETMC, Tyler. He was born August 20, 1932 in Henderson County to Eugene and Opal Brown. Growing up Irving attended local schools in Murchison. Around 1949 he met and later married Barbara Jo Chapman and they were wedded for over 48 years until her passing. Irving enjoyed his craft as a baker of all kinds of pastries. He also loved to fish and hunt with his bird dogs, he enjoyed many hours working with cattle and the actions and was of the Baptist faith.

Irving is survived by one son, Sherrell Ray Brown and his wife Celia, two daughters, Desurara Beam and her husband Phil and Kittisia Parmer and her husband Mark who helped him all through unto his last days, one sister, Violet Lasiter and her husband Jerry, a niece and nephews, 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in passing by his loving wife of 48 years Barbara Jo Brown, and one brother, James Brown.

There will be a time of visitation Monday, June 20, 2011 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, from 4pm-6pm then his funeral service will be Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 10am. Private interment will take place at Tyler Memorial Cemetery, Tyler. Arrangements are under the care of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
