Funeral services for Ines De La Cruz Ruiz, 78 of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00am, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Bishop Joseph Strickland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial is in Cathedral in the Pines.
Mrs. Ruiz passed away on January 3, 2015 in Tyler.
She was born on April 3, 1936 in Satevo Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Dolores and Maria Remedios Chacon Borunda.
She is survived by her children, Humberto Ruiz of Tyler, Norma Tarango of Mexico, Jesus Ruiz, Juan Riuz, Mario Ruiz, Blanca Ruiz and Maria Olivares all of Tyler, her brother, Abel Borunda Chacon and sister Cristina Borunda-vda de Hernandez both of Mexico. 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rosendo Ruiz Prieto; 4 brothers and 4 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Monday, January 5, 2015 with a rosary following at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
