Harold Wayne Burnett

Funeral services for Harold Wayne Burnett, 65 of Tyler, will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2:00PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.

Mr. Burnett passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 in Dallas. He was born January 8, 1949 in Palestine, to Robert Burnett and Estelle Virginia White. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Burnett worked for Borden Milk Products for 39 years; he also was a volunteer for Mother Frances Hospital Rehab Center for seven years.

He married Virginia Ann Ward and had enjoyed 18 years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife Virginia, of Tyler; daughter, Teresa Pruett and husband Paul, of Athens; stepson, Lonnie Smith and wife Ann, of Myrtle Springs; brothers, O.C.Divers, of Tyler, Jerry Burnett, of Palestine, and Donnie Burnett, of Palestine; sister, Sandra Newton, of Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Josh, Haley, McKayla, Ethan and Katlyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Burnett; and sister, Betty Murray.

The family will receive friends at Lloyd James Funeral Home Tuesday, October 14, 2014, from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
