Glenn Edward Roark, age 71, of Tyler, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012 in Tyler. Mr. Roark, an aviation electronics designer for Beechcraft Air, was born on July 11, 1941 in Houston, TX. He graduated with a Masters Degree from Texas A & M in 1963. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and served in Vietnam. He moved to Tyler from Wichita, Kansas and was a member of Friendly Baptist Church in Tyler.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Jeannie Roark of Tyler; daughter, Carla Roark of Richmond, Virginia; son, Dee Roark of Georgia; sister, Glenda Wheeler (and her husband, Cody) of Kennard, TX and two grandchildren as well as his former spouse, Russell Hyman Roark of Tyler.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Friendly Baptist Church, 1903 E. Front St., Tyler; with Pastors Pat Alvey and Don Herring officiating.
In lieu of flowers and in memory and at Glenn’s request, salute and honor past and present members of the United States Armed Forces.
