I was blessed to know Donna when she lived in Oklahoma. We met while square dancing. She showed an interest in my Catholic Faith and I was so proud to be her mentor as she joined the Catholic Church. These are pictures of he Confirmation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guthrie, OK

Her baptism. I know she is in the arms of the Lord. Know more giving person have I known. We lost touch when she moved but she was there at a time when I was going thru grief and I know God was there too.

My 3 kids, who are now 25, 21, and 15, all got a head start on life. At such a young age, They got to learn from the best instructor and example of how to live, love, and learn. My whole family could go on and on abt how lucky we feel to have her in our lives and hearts forever. My first reaction is to be incredibly sad that we lost such a necessary beacon of light in such a dark time, but that would go against every inspirational gem that she gave us. Her life’s work is continuing to play out and manifest in all of us that are lucky enough to have experienced  her insight on life first hand.. Her example, her love, and her lessons live forever thru the rest of us. She can rest, but Her work is never done 

I knew Donna in Tyler - I’m one of the first people she met here and sold the house that she and Jeff lived in to them.
She talked about her grandchildren all the time, Caitlyn... she loved you & was very proud of you!  Always remember that - she was a special soul & so are you!

Donna was my grandmother on my father's side. I lost touch with her & him many years ago but my memories of her are all nice. She was a very kind lady. When we were in touch she even treated my sister (no relation to her) as a granddaughter. I regret not trying harder to stay in touch with her. Although I did try to track her down more than once over the years.  Maybe someday in another life we can get to know each other all over again. My condolences to the family & those who were close to her I know she was a  very sweet lady. 



Donna & I have been very good friends for approx. 48 years. We haven't gotten to see each other in several years but have never lost touch. We would have long phone conversations & laugh about all the fun & goofy things we did in prior years. I'm really going to miss you my friend. I love you. Rest in peace.

I knew Donna for a short period of time, but I will always remember her loving ways.

Donna was a wonderful friend to us, who seemed to love life dearly! Donna will certainly be missed, and she holds a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace. 

We are very saddened and heartbroken to hear about the recent passing and loss of Ms. Donna Youngblood, however, we know that Donna is in a much better place and resting safely in the arms of God. We know that God had his hand upon Donna. She certainly was tough and a fighter. Donna was not only a former and wonderful neighbor of ours where we live, but Donna was also a very kind, thoughtful, courteous, caring, and particularly special friend who we will certainly never forget. Donna, frequently and evidently, seemed to be thinking of others before herself. We will always remember and reminisce the great memories that we shared together as neighbors and good friends. At this time, we extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to all of Donna's family. Please know that you are continually in our thoughts and prayers. 

Donna was always a sweet sister in law and loved her children and grandchildren as well as the rest of her family and friends.  Praying for the family may they find comfort in knowing she is walking in the light of the lord she loved.
