Funeral Services for Dennis Wayne Peel, 59, of Flint, are scheduled for Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Brother Lloyd McCaskill officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Corinth Cemetery, Grand Saline.
He passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Tyler.
Dennis was born on October 31, 1958 in Dallas to Richard and Lois Peel. He was a maintenance tech for Horizon Industries in Tyler. Dennis loved to go camping, to do yard work, home projects, throwing washers, coaching soccer, dogs, watching sports, floating down the river with friends and traveling with his wife Leanne.
He is survived by his wife Leanne Peel; his children Candace Harrell, Taz Harrell and wife Tayler, and Chevon Rutter; his parents Richard and Lois Peel; his siblings Rick Peel, Faye DeCanter, and Debbie Fowler; and his loving nieces and nephews; and his dog Scamper.
Pallbearers will be Rendall Northcutt, Chuck DeCanter, Rick Peel, Taz Harrell, Gary Spagnola, and Mike Perdue. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Kemp, David Tankersley, Lee Tilson, Chuck Davis, and Karena Wallace.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
