Cecil Lewis Moon

Cecil Lewis Moon was born Oct. 5, 1924 in Rome, Georgia. He passed away on Sept. 3, 2013. He has gone to be with his wife Ora, daughter Linda, son Ricky and grandson Todd and niece Sandra Lee also his 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He has been looking forward to meeting them in heaven. He was a founding member of Landmark Baptist Church. He was retired from Tyler Pipe. He was also in the Navy.

He has many friends and treasures them all. He is survived by son Robert Moon and daughter-in- law Sonya Moon, daughter Shirley Le Grande and grand children Cody Dye, Hunter and Arianna Moon, Britni Moon, Christopher Moon, great grand children Myla Moon, Colt Moon. By his side have been nieces and nephews Cecil Wayne Buttram, Kathy McKnight and Sheila Jane Wilkens.

Funeral services will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home at 11:00 am Friday September 6, 2013. There will be a time of visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am, one hour prior to services.
