Pete, owner of Watson's Dirt Works, was born on November 21, 1957 in Coleman, Texas to James and Shirley Watson. He grew up and attended school in Andrews, TX and Altamont, UT. He was the owner of Broadway Yamaha Suzuki in Tyler for many years; he later owned his own construction business that he continued to operate until his passing.
He was a Good Samaritan, stopping to help anyone in distress. He lived life to the fullest and racing motorcycles was his passion and was happiest when he was living on the edge.
He was preceded in death by his father, his step-father, Jay Gardner and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Rissa Watson of Tyler; daughter, Amber Watson, and son-in-law Samuel Schneider of Sachse, TX and grandson, Levi. He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Gardner of Tyler; sister, Cynthia Chambers of Bryan, TX; niece Jeanna Chambers and nephew, Andy Chambers.
A Celebration of Pete's Life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
