Born February 8, 1946, he made his journey to be with our Lord at the age of 78 on May 30, 2024.
He was preceded on this heavenly journey by parents Dewey Harmon and Rose (Andres) Harmon. Sister Harriet Louise Harmon Bell, brothers Dewey (DW) Harmon, Harold (Pete) Harmon, Gary Lee Harmon, Ronald Wayne Harmon, Eddie Gene Harmon, and son Robert Dean Harmon Jr.
Survived by his wife Anna Laverne (Eden) Harmon of 60 years, who was the love of his life, son Bryon Dean Harmon and wife Jensy Harmon, brothers Joel David ‘Dobber’ Harmon of Rattan, Okla., Donny Harmon of Edom, Texas, sisters Linda Kay Harmon Atkinson of Medford, Ore., Donna Sue Harmon, of Ore.; 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and close friends.
A man of many titles; son, brother, friend, husband, father, mentor, leader, confidant, counselor, veteran soldier of Vietnam, and at times savior of hearts, minds, and souls of those in need. In one word a Gentleman above the definition and meaning of the word.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with loved ones and close friends as well as his private quiet time to himself whether working in the yard or simply reading a book. Always spoke positive kind words to anyone and everyone.
His love, passion, faith, courage, honesty, integrity, and character are unparalleled, unquestionable, and undeniable.
He will be unmeasurably missed by all family, friends, and those who were blessed to know him. He was that man.
I have the greatest honor of all; I got to call him dad.
