Bessie Estelle Dean

Bessie married the late Lloyd Stroud in Tyler, Tx and raised their three children. She later married the late Ralph Dean. Bessie worked as a cook for many years at local establishments like Lone Star Donuts, Kroger, and finally D's Coffee Shop. She enjoyed drinking coffee and spending time with the "Friends From D's". She loved people, laughing, singing, gardening, and spending time with her family. She loved Jesus and loved singing hymns about him.

Bessie is survived by her children; Jenny Kilpatrick and her husband Kerry, Chris Stroud and his wife Millette, as well as Raymond Stroud and his wife Dede. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Brandy (Jeremy) Burnett, Colby Stroud, Dalton (Megan) Stroud, Blake Bishop, Bradley Bishop, Heather Stroud, Marissa Childress, Josh Mingee, and Erica (Gabriel) Crawford, eight great grandchildren; Alex Kilpatrick, Brayden Burnett, Aniah Garcia, Skylar Mingee, Kyra Crawford, Logan Crawford, Kali Crawford, and Dean Stroud, as well as her brother; Allen (Linda) Harrell, and sister; Edna Ruth McCreless. In addition to her parents, Bessie is pre-deceased by two sisters and five brothers.

Visitation will be Friday, August 13, 2021 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Hwy 64 West, Tyler, Tx. 75704 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10:00AM at the Tyler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial in Tyler Memorial Cemetery Park.
