Benita was a wonderful mother to her children and grandchildren. She loved her plants and taking care of her rose garden. Benita loved music, especially slow romantic songs. She loved being in the kitchen and cooking for her family. She loved to go shopping and was a big spender. Benita made sure she always looked her best and wore her expensive perfume. She was known as the 'little feisty women.'
Benita is survived by her husband, Geronimo Camacho; children, Gilberto (Dora) Lopez Sr., Bertha Lopez, Dina (Joel) Mata, Juan G. Lopez, Yolanda Frias, Elizabeth Lopez, Jason (Sammy) Lopez, and Vanessa Zamora; grandchildren, Gilberto Jr., Benita M., Maria D.J., Valerie, Juan, Anna, Carla, Erica, Michael, Michelle, Mikayli, Roman, Leroy, Jason Jr., Angelique, Ethan, Adalyn, Elijah, Victoria, Vivian, Addison, and Mia V.; great-grandchildren, Edwin N., Daleyza, Axel, Loreli, Evan F., Raegan, Jeshia F., Juan F., Cornelio Jr., Karen, Erik, Isabella, Nicholas, Anthony, Jayden, Kailey, Nathan, Eleuterio, Janely, Nataly, Jose, and Alessandra.; sister, Ninfa Compian; and brother, Celso Lopez.
A time of visitation for Benita will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. following the graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at the Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
