Larry went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning, August 25, 2013 surrounded by family and close friends.
He was born in Price, Utah the son of Jose D. and Fidelia Montano Leyba. Larry enjoyed golfing, fishing, collecting guns and cooking and always sought new challenges. His love of family and friends will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Larry was raised in Clearfield, Utah; graduating from Clearfield High School and attended Weber State College. He worked in the gold mines in Nevada but his main profession was in the gambling industry.
Larry is survived by his wife, Joanne; two sons, Jonathan (Debbie) Dobbs and Tyler; two daughters, Leslie Lierman and Tobey (Jason) Cook; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Preston, Devon, Kiaya, Nathan, Sierra, Dariell, Madilynn and Remington. He is also survived by two brothers, Joe (Janet) Leyba and Danny (Sheron) Leyba; four sisters, Florence Morrison, Mary Velasquez, Isabel (Bob) Ballard and Jane Arambula; brothers-in-law, Prudencio Gonzales and Fred (Linda) Snow and sister-in-law, Betty (Charlie) Germano and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers, Louie, Santiago and Gilbert; one sister, Laura; and three brothers-in-law, Blaine, Willy, and Erasmo; four nephews and mother and father-in-law, Ernest A. and Mary Snow.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Aarons Mortuary, 55 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah. Friends may visit family from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will take place at the Clearfield City Cemetery.
