Janet Louise Herman, 77, of Twin Falls passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at her home in Twin Falls.

Janet was born June 6, 1936 in Shoshone, Idaho the daughter of Paul Romaine Grant and Jean Ray Berrett. At age 16, Janet and family moved to Twin Falls where she graduated from Twin Falls High School.

Janet worked for Magic Valley Regional Medical Center and later took a job at the College of Southern Idaho until she retired in 1996.

Janet loved the outdoors, taking drives in the evening and fishing.

Janet is survived by her children, Tonette (Gary ) Bohrn of Hansen, Idaho; Yvonne (Fernando) Aguilar of Kennewick, Washington; Rod (Laurie) Hall; as well as her daughter in law, Susan Hall. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Al Herman and son, Glenn E. Hall.

A celebration of Janet’s life will be held as a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park with Deacon John Hurley officiating. At Janet’s request there will be no public viewing. Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
