Gordon was born January 16, 1936 in Malad, Idaho to Olive Irene Hartley and Dewey Fredrickson. He attended Malad high School & worked on his father’s farm.
Gordon graduation from BYU in business management in 1961 where he met Linda Lou Camp, they married January 27, 1964 in the Logan temple. They raised their family in Riverton, Utah where they lived for 23 years. Then moved back to Idaho where he felt at home.
Gordon worked for the Salt Lake County Assessor’s office for 23 years as a residential and commercial appraiser.
Gordon was an active member of the LDS church, loved the Savior and served a gulf states mission. He served in many callings including executive secretary and ward clerk. He especially loved missionary work.
Gordon had a lifelong love of antique cars & found great joy in owning and collecting them.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 53 years & six children; Glenn (Lenna) Fredrickson; David (Julie) Fredrickson; Marie (Joel) Gurr; Susan (Rick) Mercure; Gordon Fredrickson Jr. ; Julie (Collin) McKinlay; 14 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren. As well as his Brother Hartley & sister Kathleen. He is preceded in death by his parents & 1 grandson.
Funeral will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1pm at the Twin Falls LDS North Point Ward chapel 1134 North College Road West, Twin Falls with viewing from 12-12:45 prior to the service. Interment will be at West Jordan City Cemetery, West Jordan, Utah.
