He was born February 4, 1952, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Milford and Marva Marsh. He lived with his parents, one brother and two sisters in a house south of Twin Falls in his early years. In 1957, his parents bought a house in town. He attended school in Twin Falls and graduated in 1970. He had one year of college at CSI.
He started working around the age of 14 delivering newspapers for the Times News. He worked for Safeways – who then sold to Farmer Jack – who then sold to Ridley’s where he worked until his death. David started as a stock boy then advanced to checker. He loved his work as Produce Manager and earned many awards with his produce displays and sales. He worked in Twin Falls, Jerome, Gooding, Buhl and for over the past 12 years in Rupert.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milford Marsh; grandparents, Lavier and Alverda Morgan; Henry I. and Nettie Pearl Marsh; several aunts and uncles and a great nephew.
Surviving are his mother, Marva Marsh; brother, Gary Marsh; sisters, Karen Gutke (Ron); Sue Gann (Mike); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at White Mortuary, 136 4th Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A gathering for friends and family will take place an hour prior to the services at White Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
