Charlotte Lee Wilson, age 93 of Twin Falls, ID passed away at her home in Twin Falls on December 24, 2012.
Charlotte was born April 29, 1919 on the South Fork of the Salmon River in Valley County, ID. The youngest of 11 children of Harrison and Charlotte Fritser, she was adopted by Frank and Bertha Babcock after her natural mother died in childbirth.
She graduated from Twin Falls High School and studied to be a teacher at Albion State Normal School. Charlotte held a number of positions during her 44 year career in public education, including school principal in Jerome and elementary teacher at Washington and Lincoln Schools in Twin Falls.
She was married to Randel K. Wilson on August 8, 1948.
A member of First Baptist Church of Twin Falls she enjoyed travelling, coin and stamp collecting but especially loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her siblings and is survived by husband, Randel of Twin Falls; son, Paul and his wife Bobbie of Clarksdale MS; her six grandchildren, Aja Jess of Caldwell ID; Jeffrey Wilson and Marquesa Wilson of Boise ID; Stephanie Wells and Lindsie Miles of Las Vegas NV and LeeAnna Miles of Auburn WA; and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Mollie Jess of Caldwell ID.
A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, 136 4th Ave. East, Twin Falls with Pastor Jeff Cooper of the Twin Falls First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A viewing for family and friends will take place on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at White Mortuary.
Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
