Willie Dodson Barr

Willie D. Barr, also known to some as “Aunt Bill,” passed away on September 27, 2022, at age 93. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Milton P Barr, Jr.; sons, Clarence Johnson, Larry Johnson, William “Buddy” Johnson, and Terry Barr. She leaves two daughters, Gabriella Johnson and Glenda Barr Leasor (Bob Fanning); one son, Russell Barr and a host of grandsons and granddaughters. Willie was a lifelong caregiver to many, retiring from Bryce Hospital. So much thanks goes to Heritage Health Care for their number of years of care of Mom, life has been easier knowing she was cared for so well.

Pallbearers will be Bob Fanning, Micah Johnson, Houston Anderson, and Luke Dix.

A visitation for Willie will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
