William Jack Freeman, age 90, of Tuscaloosa, passed away on October 19, 2024 at Heritage Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, October 24, 2024 with Bro. Wayne Duren officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
William is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Peach Freeman; brother, Howard Freeman; parents, Mack and Bessie Mae Freeman.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Bush (Keith); sons, William Todd Freeman, Jack Thomas Freeman (Kirsten); brothers, Bud Freeman, Jimmy Freeman, Doug Freeman, Bob Freeman; grandchildren, Blake Boyd, Jake Boyd, Caitlyn Freeman Way, Allison Freeman Sinclair; great grandchildren, Kathryn Way, Maggie Way, William Way, Carter Sinclair, Hadley Sinclair, Mack Boyd, Blake Marie Boyd.
Jack was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1934. He graduated from Tuscaloosa County High. Jack served in the Navy for two years. He met the love of his life, Barbara Peach, at a movie theatre. There he threw popcorn at her to get her attention. They were married for 60 years. Jack started Freeman's T.V. Rental in Tuscaloosa in 1969. He had a successful business for 50 years. He was loved and respected by many. He was a member of University Church of Christ for 50 years. Jack has 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Keith Bush, Jack Freeman, Todd Freeman, Blake Boyd, Jake Boyd, Alex Way, Caiden Sinclair.
