Our beloved brother, William Herbert (Bill) Caldwell, age 73 of Tuscaloosa, died peacefully on April 28th at Hospice of West Alabama-a wonderful facility and staff. He had been in the company of loving family and friends. Herbert (Bill) was a rebel at heart. He was smart, imaginative, and so kind. He was loved by so many. He was a very talented artist and musician.
Much of his work is displayed at various locations in Tuscaloosa and other venues in Alabama and California. He was a huge Grateful Dead fan and assisted many of their concerts.
Finally, he was an honorably discharged Army Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War. He will join his beloved parents, John S. and Mary Sue Caldwell, in God’s heavenly kingdom. He will be sorely missed by his surviving family and friends.
