(Col.) Paul were Charter members of St. Mathias Episcopal Church, she was an active member of Republican Women of Tuscaloosa County, University of Alabama Theatre and Opera guilds,
Aavant Garde study club and in later years, a devotee of the Olli program.
A friend described Wanda as strong, spunky, compassionate, dedicated, confident and wise.
She is lovingly missed by daughter Pamela Hisey, son in Law John Hisey, grandson Evan Hisey (Sara Eckert) , granddaughter Erin Hisey, and great granddaughter Aslinn Hisey.
