Viva Jacquelin Averette “Jackie”, age 59, of Moundville passed away July 14, 2024 at her residence. Jackie was born in Tennessee to the late William Baker “Cowboy” and Viva Gay “Nana” Partin. Also preceding her in death is her son, Charlie Ethan Baltzell; mother in law, Peggy Averette; brother and sister in law, Joe and Paula Partin.
She leaves behind her husband, Keith Averette; daughters, Falon Baltzell and Hannah Averette; brother, William “Bill” Partin (Shannon); grandson, Ethan Averette; father in law, Leslie “Les” Averette and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jackie was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Faith Chapel Baptist Church for many years. Jackie gave her time to Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, helping anyway she could. Keith was not only her husband, he was her “person” and she adored him with everything she had. They had a love like no other. Jackie would always let everyone know how proud she was of her three children, Falon, Charlie and Hannah. When she lost Charlie, she helped other mothers dealing with the loss of their children through inspirational posts and photos on Facebook. She bonded with them in a way that many could not. When she was asked how she was doing she always replied, “I Am Blessed”, She was Blessed and was always a Blessing to others. Jackie truly lived life to its fullest through simple pleasures; messaging friends and family, shopping and spending time with her husband and their dog, Shadow.
