Tillman Eugene Clark

Tillman Eugene Clark, 84, of Tuscaloosa, passed away on January 28, 2021, at his residence. A private graveside service will be held with Bro Ramsey O’Daniel officiating. Memory Chapel, a Dignity provider is honored to be entrusted with final arrangements.

Mr. Clark was born June 20, 1936 to the late Vandy D Clark, Sr. and Mary Bell W Clark. He was a truck driver by trade, making deliveries to the Coal Mines for many years, until his retirement. He was funny and kind, enjoyed yard work and spending time with his blended family. An avid sports fan, he loved Alabama Football! He also enjoyed playing golf, as well as church league softball and basketball, for as long as he was able. He was a member of the Wesleyan Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Barbara Ann Sellers.

He is survived by his wife, of nearly 25 years, Paula Hubbard Clark, children: Tony (Linda) Clark, Sherry (Tom) Gilbert and Michael Clark, step-children Tony Averette, Renee’ Averette (Jered McGaugh) and Ricky (Joanna) Averette, sister Donna Jean (Butch) Hamilton, brother Vandy (Sue) Clark, Jr., mother in law Joyce Hubbard, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to recognize Marilyn Culver and Jamilia as Honorary Pallbearers.
