Stephanie Kretzmer Miller

Stephanie Kretzmer Miller, age 35, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2021 at the Hospice of West Alabama following a fierce and courageous battle with Breast Cancer. She was the beloved wife of Collin C. Miller and mother of Elijah and Rory Miller.

Stephanie also leaves behind sisters Ashley Paladino of Illinois, Amanada O’Dell of Tennessee and Amy Mannella of Nevada, grandfather, Richard Kretzmer of Atlanta, GA and mother in-law, Judy DeVine Miller of Tuscaloosa, AL and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and many friends and coworkers who were considered part of her extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Kretzmer Brown of Birmingham, AL and grandmother, Barbara Ritter Kretzmer of Atlanta, GA and Father-in-Law, Michael Miller of Tuscaloosa, AL.

Born on January 20, 1986 in Birmingham, AL, Stephanie was a 2005 graduate of Holy Spirit Catholic HS in Tuscaloosa, AL. She received a Certificate of Medical Billing from Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham and worked as an Optometry Tech at the Moore Eye Clinic in Tuscaloosa. She was a member of St Matthias Episcopal Church.

Stephanie’s most treasured life accomplishment was that of wife and mother. She will be remembered for her smile that she loved to share and her positive and quirky approach to life. She tackled all challenges that came her way with a spirit of determination, always looking for the good. She will pass on her Love of Life to her children. Stephanie will be always loved and surely missed by all that knew her.

A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 21st from 1:00-3:00pm at Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd., Tuscaloosa, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society.
