TUSCALOOSA – Sam W. Sullivan, age 86, of Tuscaloosa, died December 11, 2016. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Oswalt officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Sullivan; parents, M. C. and Vera Ophelia Sullivan; brothers, John, Robert, Lester, Cecil, Joe Ray and Travis Sullivan; and sister, Lola Mae Richardson. Survivors include his son, Sammy W. Sullivan (Carolyn); grandchildren, Heather Dramer (Mike) and Todd Sullivan (Aleetha); and five great-grandchildren, Mary Morgan Dramer, Mattingly Dramer, Logan Dramer, Alexandra Sullivan and Audrey Sullivan. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Brownie and Cujo. Pallbearers will be Todd Sullivan, James Boatner, Mike Dramer, Logan Dramer, Rick Johnson, Paul Sullivan and Michael Shirley.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Anand Pandey, Dr. Gene Aldridge, Heritage Assisted Living Caregivers and Hospice of West Alabama.
