Sally Sawyer

Sally Joy Davis Sawyer, 86, of Moundville, passed away on February 02, 2022, at Hospice of West Alabama. A Memorial Gathering of Love will be held on Monday, February 07, 2022 at 10:00AM, from the Legacy Suite, of Memory Chapel Funeral Home. A Private burial will be at Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of Prayer. Services are under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.

Sally was born February 17, 1935, she attended the Moundville Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Perry Sawyer, a daughter Paula McClellan and son-in-law William Tingle. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Tingle, son-in-law James McClellan, three grandsons: Tony (Billie Jo) Lea, Jeremy (Bethany) Bartishofski and Rodney McClellan, her special sisters-in-law Dorothy Beckham, Myrtis Burroughs, Anne Bonner, Joyce Wood, Rubye Cook, Dale Tingle and her beloved Labradoodle “Bella.”
