Ruth Virginia Brown Hallman was born November 14, 1937 and went to join her loved ones in Heaven on November 23, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lee and Freeman Brown; husband, Paul Hallman; son, Curtis Hallman and her two brothers.
Mooch, as her husband Paul always called her, were a part of the Peterson Community for most of their lives where they had many loving friends. She loved the Lord and over the years her calling was always to be the caretaker of sick and ailing family members. She did this selflessly and with no regrets. A dear friend said, to know her was to love her. We think all will agree with that statement. She will be greatly missed- along with her fried pies.
I lieu of flowers please make a donation to your church or a charity you believe in. Pallbearers will be her son- Jeff Hallman, brothers- Everette Brown and Bobby Brown, and Christ Beckham, Garry Gregg, and Max Whitehead. A brief graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Memory Hill Gardens, officiated by Randy Pate.
