COTTONDALE - Ronald Wayne Kilgore, age 60, of Cottondale, Ala., died July 25, 2020. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020, at Memory Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Wesley Kilgore; and parents, Hilda and Gordon Kilgore.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Wayne Kilgore; sister, Nelda “Marie” Kilgore Smith; grandchildren, Ashlyn Kilgore, Alithia Wilkerson, Logan Wilkerson, and Summer Wilkerson.
Ronald, or “Pops”, as he was called, was a hard-working man, a good friend, and loyal to his family. He gave the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it and offered a hand or safe haven. He gave everything for his grandkids. He will be truly missed.
