McCALLA – Ray Vanoy, age 83, passed away August 19, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Birmingham. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 in Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jack Clary officiating.
Mr. Vanoy was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Newell Vanoy and C.W. Vanoy; sisters, Jane Weller and Sarah Gully; and brother, LTC William E. Vanoy.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mona K. Vanoy; daughter, Sharon Balash (Steve); son, Will Vanoy (Karen); sister, Elaine Bricken; brother, Jim Vanoy (Lee); and grandchildren, Brady Vanoy and Julia Vanoy.
