He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Weber and father, Harold F. Weber; brothers, Richard Weber, Paul Weber, and David Weber; sister, Ruth Alexander.
He is survived by his spouse, Helen Weber; brothers, Charles Weber, Glen Weber, Wayne Weber, and George Weber; son, Matt Weber (Pam); grandchildren, Katherine, Claire, Carly, and Khloe Weber.
He was born near Pittsburg, PA on April 19th, 1952. He moved to Newnan, GA in 1961 and then to Vernon, FL in 1968. He then moved to Tuscaloosa, AL in 1972 to visit with his sister Ruth and worked with sister and brother in laws business in which he fell in love with saw milling and his saw filing career began. Ralph met his wife Helen in 1975 and married the love of his life in 1976. He worked in the saw mill and lumber industry for 40+ years. Ralph retired from Westervelt Lumber and his spare time enjoyed restoring his antique John Deere tractors, restoring his dad's antique saw mill, and participating in antique tractor pulls and spending time with his family and 4 granddaughters.
Pallbearers are Lynn Dockery, Jason Dockery, Blaine Alexander, Chris Alexander, Stacy Alexander, and Brian Alexander.
Honorary pallbearers are Clint Weber, Brian Weber, Dennis Weber, Greg Weber, Curewell Medical, Alabama Neurology, The Kirklin Clinic UAB, DCH Regional Medical Center, Caring Missions, Westervelt Lumber, KyKenKee Inc., and Hagler Volunteer Fire Dept.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Hagler Volunteer Fire Department and Shiloh Church Cemetery in Duncanville, AL.
A visitation for Ralph will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405, followed by a graveside service at Shiloh Church Cemetery Duncanville, AL.
