Mary Lynn graduated from Red Bank High School and attended Tennessee Tech University. Marriage and a job brought her to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she was a great homemaker, cook, friend, mother, and Granny. Mary Lynn retired from the Tuscaloosa County Court House after many years of service. She was an avid bowler, and the president of Alabama Women’s Bowling Association for many years. Her passion of bowling took her across the United States where she made many lasting friendships. Mary Lynn was inducted into the Alabama USBC Association Hall of Fame in 1992. It is an understatement to say that Mary Lynn was a sports enthusiast. She loved almost all college sports, especially UT football, both men's and women's basketball, and baseball; and was thrilled that her Tennessee Volunteers won the College World Series last month. Mary Lynn's passion for baking brought joy to her family, friends, and the patients and staff of Hospice of West Alabama, where she spent her last days leaving behind a legacy of serving others.
