Maw Maw loved spending time with family and friends. She had a passion for collecting unique salt and pepper shakers and it was an adventure for all to find sets she did not have. She worked hard and retired from Bryce Hospital after 25 years of service. She was a member of New Beginnings Family Worship Center. In 2010 she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and in 2011 she lost everything she had in the terrible April Tornado that hit Tuscaloosa. No matter what obstacles or challenges she faced, she always placed her trust in Jesus.
