Lorenza Turner was born on August 29, 1941 in Mt. Sterling, Alabama to the late Fred and Beatrice Turner. He graduated from Choctaw County Training School. After graduation, he immediately joined the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge. He was married twice.
Lorenza lived an enjoyable and productive life. He retired from Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Company and the United States Air National Guard. He was working as a truck driver with The Westervelt Company at the time of his death. Lorenza attended church at Come As You Are Fellowship Ministries.
Lorenza passed away on June 20, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Turner; his mother, Beatrice Turner; his sister, Ethel Fisher; and two brothers, Cleophere Turner and Watley Turner. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Patty Howell; step-son, Atty. Kelvin Howard; one brother, Fred Turner, Jr. (Bessie); and four sisters, Blendell Turner, Derotha Moore, Yetola Boykins (William) and Kathy Turner; his nephew/best buddy, Melvin Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews , relatives and friends.
