Lonnie Gay Hollingsworth

He is survived by wife, Evelyn Loventrice Hollingsworth of Tuscaloosa, AL; children, James Lee Hollingsworth, Debra Ann McGuyer of McCalla, AL, Tracy Eugene Hollingsworth of McCalla, AL, Darlene Hollingsworth of Buhl, AL; two grandchildren that he and Evelyn raised, Melissa Sue Herrow and Christopher Eugene Hollingsworth; one great child that he and Evelyn raised, Jeremiah Pearson Herrow; 2 sisters, Ruby Beck of Tuscaloosa, AL and Vera Nell Glossup from Texas; 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and the rest of his family were all very special to him.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Eugene Hollingsworth, David Walker, Richard Harcrow, and Jeffrey McElroy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremiah Pearson Herrow.

A visitation for Lonnie will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. A burial will occur Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11:45 AM at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
