VANCE – Joey Sellers, age 49, of Vance, Ala., died December 4, 2016. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Emmit Smith and Rev. Brooks Schoults officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, December 7, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sellers; brother, Tommy Grafton; and father-in-law, Kellon Crosby. Survivors include his daughters, Kellyn Hope Sellers and Kaylyn Fayth Sellers; son, Joseph Austin Sellers; sisters, Nora Gain, Bonnie Anderson and Kathy Gidel; sister-in-law, Ellen Grafton; brothers, Jerry Wayne Sellers, Jimmy Sellers, Donald Sellers, Ronny Sellers, Bobby Grafton and Mike Grafton; parents, Barbara Sellers and Jerry Sellers; nephews, Daniel Beaver (Shannon) and Joshua Beaver (Chandler); great-nephew, Devan Beaver; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family. Anyone who knew our dad will immediately smile when they think of him. Our dad had a giving heart and the best sense of humor. He always provided for his family and went above and beyond to ensure they were taken care of.As soon as our dad stepped in a room, he was making people laugh and smile. We will always remember him as a hardworking man with unending love for his kids and childhood sweetheart and mother of his children, Carolyn Faye Sellers.
