He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Marvin Buford Sr.; grandparents, Leonard and Ruby Buford and Thomas Hilt Peek and Iva Lou Homan Peek.
He is survived by his mother, Jewel Dean Peek Buford; spouse, Kimberly Moore Buford; sisters, Debbie Buford Burson, Stephanie Buford Hardwick; son, Chase Jake Buford (Guadalupe); daughter, Abigail Hayes Kane (Charles); grandchild, Hayesleigh Marie Kane.
Jim "Bo" Buford was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, businessman and friend, gone too soon on the day of the Lord January 14, 2024 at the age of 54. At the age of 18, after highschool, Bo started his own Buford's Locksmith and Security business. He built his business from the ground up and worked hard to support his family and to help better the lives of those who worked with him. Bo touched everyone who crossed his path, always known for his charisma, work ethic, and supportive nature throughout his lifetime in Tuscaloosa, AL and beyond. We will deeply miss Bo and ask for your support in joining us to celebrate his life and remember his legacy.

Pallbearers are Chase Buford, Charles Kane, Daniel Buford, Austin Donahue, Gilberto Lopez, Parker Nodine, Nicholas Nodine, and Todd Nodine.
Honorary pallbearers are the Employees of Buford's Locksmith and Security.
The visitation will be Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 from 1-2 P.M. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home located at 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405. Following the visitation will be a chapel service at 2 P.M. Burial will be at Memory Hill Gardens.
