James was preceded in death by his father, Marquis Moore Wingard. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Teresa Lowery Wingard; mother, Jeannine Wingard; sister, Janet Wingard Hinson and brother-in-law, Robert Hinson.
James knew the value of hard work and was known to be a workaholic. He firmly believed one man’s junk was another man’s treasure, so he was a collector of many different treasures. When he wasn’t hard at work, he enjoyed spending time fishing, tinkering around with various projects at home, and traveling to the mountains or the beach to relax. Above all, he loved God, his family, his country, and of course, his dogs.
A graveside service will be held at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Chilton County, Alabama (2176 Yellow Leaf Rd, Clanton, AL 35405) on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Rev Danny Murray officiating.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Gravette, Clayton Gravette, William Stewart, Paul Champion, Jeff Harless, and David Neal.
