James Earl Hogue, age 71, of Brookwood, died May 19, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Big Hurricane Cemetery with Tony Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Hogue.Survivors include his wife, Linda Hogue; mother, Virgie Hogue; daughters, Donna Strozier (Ronnie), Carol Price (Bobby), Karen Quilliams (Mike) and Melissa Barnett (Neilson); sisters, Charlotte Kizziah (Earnest) and Janice LaGrone (Harold); nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are members of Local Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union 372.
