Ms. Hallman was born June 28, 1930 to the late Gadsden and Tresser Hudson Dennis. She was the living definition of the Matriarch of her family. Deeply loved and very well-respected by her family, she was kind and always willing to pour out words of wisdom. She lived life to the fullest! A fun and loving “Maw Maw”/“Granny,” she was always the life of the party and a joy to be around. “She was ‘Everything,” Mother, grandmother, girlfriend and “Queen Bee.” She loved people, talking, reading and was an exceptional baker, she enjoyed music of all kinds, but was especially fond of Gospel Music. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of those who love her, but they will forever be grateful for the unforgettable moments they have to cherish, and the impact that she will forever have on their lives.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Hallman was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Hallman, son Terry Hallman, son in law Terry Pierce; four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by daughters: Becky (Cleon) Kyles, Beverly Pierce, Brenda (Gary) Tanner and Barbara McClendon; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family wishes to recognize Dr. Steven Browne, Dr. Jennifer Vigil and Dr. Anne Lewis as Honorary Pallbearers.
