Henry Albert Hagler

Henry A. (Jack) Hagler, Jr., age 91, of Tuscaloosa, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2016. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Neal Hodo officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry A. Hagler, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth Hagler; son, Jack Randall Hagler; daughter, Patricia L. Callahan; and siblings, Jimmy Hagler, Martha Ford and Alene Sparks. He is survived by his wife, Bobbye Jean Hagler; daughters, Mary Joyce Price (Tom) and Katherine Hagler Hilbish; son, Mike Hagler (Kim); grandchildren, Mary Katherine Mathews (Kent), Laurie Beth Jensen (Andy), Jon Michael Hilbish, Jesse Hilbish, Blake Hagler and Brandon Hagler; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Owen, Madi and Olivia; and sisters, Nina Sue Brown (Joe Ed), Mary Channell (Elbert) and Patty Jean Armstrong. He was born on March 23, 1925, in Northport, Alabama. He proudly served his country in the Navy in World War II. He worked at Gulf States Paper Mill for 29 years and B.F. Goodrich for 10 years where he retired. He was a long time member of Cottondale United Methodist Church, where he served as an usher.Although the time of remembering our loved one's passing always tugs at our hearts, the assurance of their joy in heaven helps us to move on with comfort and a confident hope that we will see each other again.
