TUSCALOOSA – Gracie Watkins, age 92, passed away March 19, 2022 at Bibb Medical Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton E. Watkins; parents, Otha and Fannie Mitchell; son, Jerry Watkins; and brothers, Otis Mitchell and R.G. Mitchell.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Watkins (Melissa) and Wayne Watkins; grandchildren, Jason Watkins (Monica), Matthew Watkins (Megan), Wayne Watkins, Jr. (Danielle), and Cory Watkins; great-grandchildren, Phoebe Watkins, Iris Watkins, August Watkins, Rhett Watkins, Kenzie Watkins, Colton Watkins, Case Watkins, and Olivia Powell Watkins; daughter-in-law, Shurra Watkins; and former daughter-in-law, Pam Jones.
Pallbearers will be Jason Watkins, Matt Watkins, Chris Watkins, Wayne Watkins, Jr., and Cory Watkins.
